1. iFreeze
in January. We’re cold. It’s not even THAT cold, but I think it’s because both of us are on the exercise/diet thing and we don’t have as much padding as before (iPad!) LOL. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

2. iTired. So glad it’s Friday! The marketing of 2010 has started and I’m really, really not in tip-top marketing shape. I love it, but I have contacted over 400 people/companies in the past two weeks and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Next week starts follow-up, so it’s going to get harder.

3. iRead. It’s my solace. I got the entire set of Jane Austen on Kindle for free (Amazon rocks it there, Apple!) and so have started reading Emma. I read a lot, if you couldn’t guess.

4. iWrite. And the writing continues and is going really well. I am having issues with third person omniscient voice, but I will get it. It’s all about craft now.

5. iEat. Did some salad, but I’m getting back into cheese and pickle sandwiches for lunch. Chocolate zucchini muffins were a huge hit this week for a snack, and my still-absolute favorite food in the world right now for dinner is still tacos. Homemade! I want some RIGHT NOW!

Have a great weekend! If you want to follow my tips for authors on social media, check out my other blog and my other Twitter. Okay, really, shameless marketing pitch is over now.

Onto Friday!

Did you have *any* padding to lose, friend?!!

iTired and iEat, too, and tacos are my favorite dinner.

iRead… just finished the Lewis biography by George Sayer. LOVED it! Heading into Screwtape Letters next.

I can’t write, but I’d like to *be* omniscient. :) Actually, I have a new writing gig (just a little one) coming up. It is a big stretch for me, but I hope to rise to the challenge. :)

Happy Friday!

I really want tacos for breakfast today. Ha.

Ooo, I’d like to be omniscient too.

You can write. If you can keep up a blog for as long as we have, there has to be some writing spark. You’ll do great. Good luck!

Have a great weekend!

Oh mercy, now I need tacos. Like NOW! :-)

How do you make them, darling?

I am not fancy.

Grated cheddar cheese, flour tortillas (I know!) that I fry until light brown in canola oil, and the leanest ground meat I can get at the grocery store, with any grease drained off and then with a packet of Taco Bell seasoning poured in with a cup of water. Let simmer. Then add refried beans, olives, other cheeses if desired and tomatoes. Yum.

iWrite: Third person omniscient is tricky. It’s hard to keep it intimate, and also not to go head-jumping from one character to the next. Keep the reader safe! I’ve got 8 published essays and am working on a memoir.

iEat: Just starting Week 4 of 1500-calorie “budget” (don’t like diets) and have lost 5 pounds, but goal was 6 pounds in 3 weeks… actually want to lost 20 pounds in 10 weeks. Nice thing about a calorie budget is you can eat whatever foods you want, but within the calories each day. Had Belgium waffles, bacon and eggs for brunch this morning, but now have to keep it skimpy for the rest of the day. It’s a trade-off.

iRead: No Kindle yet… want an iPad… reading “Saving Cicadas” by Nicole Seitz, whom I met at Girlfriend Weekend in Jefferson, Texas recently. Lovely woman. Good writer. Good book.
