The season here in Seattle has changed. Suddenly, it’s fall, and headed to winter fast. Our weather is never actually cold, but moving from the 70s to the high 40s, well, you feel it, for sure.

I’m okay with the changing of the season, the shift of mental gears, the preparations for the holiday season and for early new year plans.

I tend to riffle through stacks of papers and books, yearn to get caught up on things that have been left hanging, make decisions, move forward with courage, leave some old habits behind.

I yearn.

Sometimes I struggle.

It is days like these in which I must be kind to myself.

Be kind. You are a great person. Seconds before your tweet tweeted, I was following your advice from this weekend. See how great you are?
