If you have not seen Erika Powell of Urban Grace Design‘s work in magazines in the past two years, you’re missing out. It’s scrumptious.

Erika uses Pinterest avidly. At today’s count she has 56 boards full of inspiration and ideas for her design business. But I like to look at boards by awesome designers as a window into their soul. What does she just love? It is evident by what she pins.
As an interior designer, Erika uses Pinterest like an interior designer. Each board covers a major room: Baths, Bedrooms, Dining Rooms, Entries and Foyers, Kitchen, Laundry, Kidspace, Living Rooms, Office, and garden or a major category that interests Erika: back to back sofas, art, architecture, barn, black doors, books, color, dark houses, details, chickens and coops, and fabric + pattern.
I LOVE looking at her boards. It inspires me to go spend time with my boards or to thumb through a magazine or peruse a magazine on my iPad. It makes me want to go take photos with my camera and to be aware of what I love.
Each time someone is wholehearted (a Brene Brown term), it makes you also want to be wholehearted as well.
