We made it up to the Olympics this weekend for the day. We had no tickets. We had no money to buy tickets. We just wanted to soak up the Olympics anyway (as best we could) and we did!

Canada was so proud of their city, country, and athletes! So much fun! They hollered and yelled and blew their horns all through the streets. And then when there were so many people and we couldn’t move forward or backward because of the human crush, they would spontaneously burst into song, “Oh, Canada . . .” and would just stand there while everyone sang together. It was magical!

Then we paid ten bucks to get into the Irish House, which was just more Canadians dancing to Irish music. Hubby enjoyed the drinks though.

We marveled at the architecture of downtown Vancouver. It was a gorgeous day, and nothing to do but walk, talk, and take in all the sights.

It was a very fun day and we came home exhausted. I am definitely an introvert. Crowds are so not my thing, but this was worth it if just to have one more thing from my “bucket list” complete.

Have a great day! Go USA!
