So, I’ve been hankering to read PD James’s Private Patient, but what is the deal with not having it in Kindle version? The Lighthouse (James’s last book) was in Kindle version. Driving me crazy. I may have to actually drive to a B&M bookstore to pick up this book. Always love me some PD James.

Okay, just discovered AMC’s Mad Men. We don’t have cable, but I just got the first season on Netflix. Oh boy, I think I’m completely addicted. Jon Hamm as Don Draper is so good. During the first episode, I thought to myself, now this is the kind of series that I’ve been waiting for. Love it.

I’ve decided to skip Twilight in the theater and wait for dvd. This is only because hubby is dying to see Bond and I’d rather go to the movies with him. Yeah, I know. How can I possibly wait to see Twilight? I’m a pretty patient person (except when it comes to chocolate) and I lost my best movie buddy in September when she moved to Alabama. Need to get the schedule ready for some girls’ night out stuff in 2009.

If you have only heard of Twitter and haven’t really looked into it much, you’re missing out. Motrin lost its Mom campaign as a result of real moms hollering on Twitter about it. Read more here. Fascinating how social media has stepped up and now has some sway. It’s a good thing. The media has painted itself into a corner with its lack of ethics in reporting stories (a la New York Times, which shouldn’t brag anymore. At all.) lately.

And I’m on Twitter. Follow me here. Have fun. I will warn you. It’s addictive.

Happy Friday!
