Monday Morning Round-up

Happy Monday, everyone.

I cannot believe tomorrow is Election Day. Have we really been thinking about this election for two solid years? Yes. And if the SNL clip of Tina Fey is to be believed (Sarah Palin going rogue), the 2012 prez race begins Wednesday.

Thankfully, I’ve blocked most of it out. But if you didn’t see Senator John McCain on SNL with Tina Fey, you need to take a look. It was really funny. And Ben Affleck as Keith Olbermann was hilarious.

So today, wanted to link to my writing buddy, Daisy Whitney’s New Media Minute show. She talks books, movies, media, whatever. And she’s good.

MediBistro’s GalleyCat highlights an article about getting a book deal from social media. I like the sound of that.

Candlewick Press has a pretty cool book about the election that parents can download for their kids. Our White House: Looking In, Looking Out is a presidential history in a timeline trivia format, with stickers so that kids can add the new president at the head of the line.

As for me, I had a banner weekend writing on blogs as well as writing like a fiend on my novel. Check out my new word count ticker.
