So I didn’t get up early today to go get in line at the various Apple stores or AT&T stores and kiosks around Seattle. I should have, but I didn’t.
I showed up around 9 am after checking email and sending off work to clients and it took two hours to get in the store. By that time they were out of iPhones, but I did an order and I’ll have my phone next week. If I was really adventurous, I could run out this weekend to an Apple store and get one, but I have a thing that by the time I’ve waited in line for an hour, I really don’t want to walk away, so I stayed put. Some guy who picked up two iPhones at Southcenter was in line behind me (he got up at 5 am to get in line at the mall) to get another phone for his son. Definitely iPhone fever.
It’s gorgeous weather, it’s Friday. I have a gala tomorrow in Bellevue celebrating a friend’s birthday and then we’re out on the boat on Sunday at the lake. Nice weekend and we’ve waited all year for this.
